Risk Management and Infrastructure Engineering Research Institute was established in Urmia University in 2014 with the cooperation of Urmia University and West Azarbaijan Governorate in order to help meet the province's research needs in the field of risk management and infrastructure engineering. The risk management and infrastructure engineering research Institute has advanced equipment, including an earthquake simulation table and a dynamic operator. This Institute has the ability to perform all technical tests and provide research services to the private sector, master's and doctoral students with high quality in the fields of structural engineering, earthquakes and geotechnics.
